Leeds Trinity is gearing up to host a special charity match in partnership with Andy’s Man Club, a group dedicated to supporting men’s mental health. Set to take place on the 14th of May in honour of Men’s Mental Health Week, this event is about raising awareness and breaking down the stigma about men’s mental health

Andys Man Club, a dedicated men’s mental health charity, is preparing to host a highly anticipated charity football match at the Leeds Trinity University football pitch, bringing the community together for an important cause.

Founded in 2016, Andy’s Man Club is a passionate men’s mental health charity that strives to promote the powerful motto “It’s okay to talk”, placing firmly at the heart of everything they do. They work tirelessly to combat and prevent men’s suicide by providing free and accessible peer-to-peer support. Their ultimate goal is to break down the barriers and end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health, empowering men to navigate and overcome their personal struggles through the transformative power of open and honest conversation.

Leeds Trinity has a strong connection and commitment to student well-being, making it the perfect venue for the event. The university actively promotes mental health awareness and is proud to support Andy’s Man Club’s mission. The match is hoping to draw students, faculty, and hopefully local supporters, all coming together for an important cause.

Fans attending the match will not only be able to watch the game however, they’ll be able to talk to others there, such as workers, and participate in events regarding mental health initiatives. Information stalls will also be there, and guest speakers, as well as fundraising events, will take place during the day, ensuring the impact of the event goes beyond the final whistle.

Entre to the match is free, but donations are encouraged to help support Andy’s Man Club and the invaluable work they do. Whether you’re a football fan or simply passionate about mental health advocacy, this is an event not be missed.
